The model reads a cell kilometers wide. You were there instead, and you know if it really rained. When the two don't match, you win.
Why the weather is wrong in the forest
Weather grids are based on cells several kilometers wide. In the Apennines, a single cell can contain the valley floor, the north slope and the ridge: three places with three different rains, and only one piece of data for everyone.
How to correct it
In each seat's card there is a box Correct the rainYou choose the day, say how much you got, and that place's score immediately takes it into account. You can also do this on the exit form, when you get home and remember how it went.
Valid only for that place
The correction doesn't change the weather forecast for everyone in the area: it changes the history of your place. It's that place that, from then on, will have a more accurate forecast.
