App Guide

In the forest: offline, GPS, SOS

feature graphic it 1024x500

The app works in the worst place for a phone: the woods, where there's no network. It's designed specifically to work there.

What works without signal

  • Saving never blocked: neither offline, nor beyond the free plan limits. It syncs automatically when the signal returns.
  • GPS track: records the route, with distance and elevation, even with the screen off and app closed.
  • Back to the car: arrow and distance to find the parking lot, even without signal.
  • The right place even without signal: you mark a mushroom as soon as you see it and the position stays the same, even if GPS hasn't locked on yet.

The app keeps the map for you

When you set out on a hike, the app automatically manages the forest around you: the map you looked at while camping stays with you even when there's no camping site. You don't have to remember anything.

It's still a good habit though: if you already know where you're going, download first the maps of the areaIt takes a minute and covers even the largest turns.

The SOS button

In difficulty, a button shows your position, alerts a contact you've chosen, and activates an alarm. It's designed to work even with weak signal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the track work with the screen off?

Yes, it continues recording even when the screen is off and the app is closed.

Can I use the maps without signal?

Yes. When you set out on a ride, the app automatically tracks the forest around you; and if you download the areas you need beforehand, they work offline, even on longer rides, along with the logbook and track.
