The diary is passive: you open it. Notifications aren't: they look for you, when needed. It's the function that brings you back into the app at the right time.
Two levels of warning
Once a day the app checks the conditions and, when it's time, alerts you.
- Local (for everyone): excellent conditions in your area.
- Staff (Premium): Compare with your history of that place, that time of year. For example: “Costa del Faggio: today looks a lot like when you found porcini mushrooms there.”
No spam
At most, one notification every six days. There are also seasonal reminders: "Usually, in two weeks, the honey mushrooms start to grow." The personal alert is based on the same logic with which the app learns from your places.
